We’ve focused on lighting a fair bit recently. Now it’s time to turn our attention to composition. For this week’s Practice Shot, use composition to frame your subject. While you could use a literal frame in your shot, we’re challenging you to use other environmental elements to frame your subject. Everything else is fair game – perspective, subject, lighting….you get the picture (pun intended). You guys have been doing an awesome job of getting out there to shoot and putting up some creative stuff – keep up the good work!
You don’t have to share your masterpiece with us. But we’d love it if you did!
Here are the rules:
- Post your pic.
- Hashtag it with #SPSGradsPractice and #SPSGradsPractice98 and (if you’re inclined) #yourfirstandlastname (so your adoring fans can search your work) in our Facebook Group. BTW, please use our GRADS group, not our LR Group.
Bonus! Please post to Instagram!
If you post and hashtag (#SPSGradsPractice) your SINGLE practice pic to Instagram, we’ll be able to view all pics on one single page.
That’s right – participate in the PS each week and you might win some awesome SPS swag! Okay , enjoy the weekend! And take some time to practice! 🙂
